Computer Science Engineer, with a background in robotics used in the inspection and repair of nuclear power plants. Now running an environmental test lab testing commercial and military cockpit flight and voice recorders "the black box" You may have seen me in an episode of Modern Marvels, built to last.
I enjoy kayaking and camping. Sometimes incorporating both into a weekend.
I have lived in 13 countries and 27 states. Most recently I spent about three months in San Francisco doing consulting work for radio emissions and 12 months about an hour north of Los Angeles starting up a test lab for a company that builds initiators for missiles such as AMMRAM and Hellfire. But now I am back in Florida full time with the company I started working contract with.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I do believe we are not the only ones out here.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
