Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I don't waste my CPU's time for games, etc.
2. After failed quite often in finding intelligence on Earth, I like to give the aliens a trial;-)
3. BOINC software should be preinstalled on every new computer - maybe it's possible to team up with hardware or software manufacturers to create a special app.
Energy consumption by running calculations should be emphasized much more and balanced against other consumpitions. Maybe like : "Don't drive your car for one week and you get the PC-power for one year to support mankind."
