Personal background
Im a college student in Pennsylvania. I like a whole bunch of stuff but science is my true passion. Oh yeah the Bush administration is hindering the advancement of science.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course it does, we can't be the only creatures in the Universe that would be a lonely place so i would say we are gona find something within the next 10 years the benefits of such a contact would be incalcuable and there is always danger in things we do. If we were able to send a signal we should send our most advanced mathematical concepts and some representation of our location. I hope that by allowing the SETI scientists to use my computer I might help locate something grand in the Universe. We need to find new communication technologies.
