| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I defininitely think that ET exists somewhere out there in the Universe. Or there are some/infinite number of Universes that are the World... Or there are some/infinite number of Worlds... Dimensions... Times... Ma-a-an, this can drive you crazy ! ;)
2. Of course ! Contact attempts should be always made from the both sides. We should send a signal that we're trying to find someone out there in the outer space; and some info that we know about our location - the composition of our sun, the planets, the other stars and some more anchors like that.
3. That's my tiny investment in what I believe in. I do not mean necessarily the SETI@Home alone, I mean the whole search for the ET being conducted. I believe that we will find something that we will successfully decode and respond to. Keep the faith. If we do nothing - nothing happens. Let's give it a try. I believe that SETI@Home gives it a good try. Time will show. |
