Personal background
I'm you're typical country boy who got into computers when he was 13, then heavily into them @ Penn State University on the mainframe, then SUPER heavily into them at certain Telecom Providers and Internet Providers with high end enterprise disk - with several companies which I'm sure most of you have heard of. Name one and 95% I've logged in to one, broken one, fixed one, managed it, or helped sell it - one of the above =)

Love the idea of community ubiquitous computing. I'm here to help those of like mind.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I know there are budgetary issues for the massive parallel computing power required for the project and I want to help where I can.

Views - I'm a n0ob to SETI@home, but my views are currently that I'm glad to be here, and as I get to know more about what we're doing I may update this section.

No suggestions at this time, except I'm going to try to recruit at least 10 people to join the project. Then after I hit 10 I'm going for 25. Then 50, then 100. and THEN - I will feel I have realy helped contribute.
