I am an electronic technician. I was a slot manager and tech in a casino in alturas,ca. I am retiring and intend to go to school for photography. I roller skated for 45 years. My health says no now. This is the third time I have done seti. If my puters had not dies my credits would be in the millions. Both my current puters run on XP an duel boot with ubuntu 11.04. By the way linux runs seti much faster. If you had not noticed it looks alot like a Mac. I have run linux off and on for years and am still corn fused. If you catch my meaning. I am a DeVry graduate. I graduated before puters ran on even some early Dos. Win 3.0 was unknown. My lap Top ran on win7 then got a virus and died. So I did the Format thing. And am happy back to XP and ubuntu 11.04.
Whether we find anything it is a worthy endavor. If we do,our job is to be a people they would be willing to meet. I wonder if we are!!!! I was born in june,1947. I love the net. I surf every day there is so much to learn. When the net started I told all my friends it was a world changer. Was I right or what.
If string theory is true than the dementions(spelling) Then will we sometime be able to go there. An you know they will not be just like us. What an elegant universe. Who knows!!!!! Keep on seeking my friends.
