Personal background
"Normal does not and can not exist. The definition of normal is 'what most people are.' There is no group of people who is exactly alike. Therefore, there can be no such thing as normal. This makes being abnormal, the norm." - ECJB.

"I am who I say that I am, which is defined by what I believe, which is how I try to act." - ECJB.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
a) Because I can.
b) Because I might help science discover something with my antique computer.

2. What are your views about the project?
In the beginning God created...
Whether or not He created other life in the universe is an unknown question. The search for the answer may lead to more than simply Liggle Green Men, but further answers about the inner workings of our finely-crafted universe, and ultimately, the fingerprints of its Maker.

3. Any suggestions?
If I were smart enough to have started something like this, I might have suggestions. If you're talking about the program itself, it would be nice to have interprocess communication even when running as a service. (Not that I need to waste CPU cycles drawing pretty pictures, but it's nice sometimes.)
