Personal background
My name is Daniel and i come from the western part of Germany, where the population is the highest. As many probably know Cologne, they know which part I mean. It´s quite easy to say, I were still young when I compare it with others (i.e. extraterrestrial intelligence), but my birth-year was in 1979 and so in this moment I am 23 years old.

Since I was a child, I went outside at night, watched the stars and dreamed of being one of them. When I became older, I realised that it wasn´t that easy like I thought. Today I help others to let their dreams come true(and also mine), to be nearer the stars than ever before with using SETI@HOME
And trust me or not: It really works.

I serve for military and this is the part where the most time is spent for. The rest of my harmless time I use for electronics and Internet on the search of the "All-knowing" :-) Just a joke. I love it surfin´ around and having fun, which the internet gives me.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I actually don´t really know that extraterrestrial life exists. But what if ?! My girlfriend told me some time ago.....

"When ever we will get in contact with aliens, stop this SETI@HOME programme. You´ll never know if they are friendly or not."
Yes, it´s a bit funny and a smile worth. But actually in basics, she is absolutely right. We´ll never be the first, who knows what they intend to do. Unfortunately it could come as in the movie "Independence day".

Nevertheless, I am proud to be a member, to be a part of, and to help SETI@HOME.

Greetings to all of those who share my thoughts.....
