Hello all.....
My name is Leroy, I'm 51 yrs old.
I'm a Former OTR (Over The Road) Truck Driver.
Now I am driving a School Bus.
My favorite hobbies are Amateur Radio and computers.
I especially enjoy building my own computers and
improving my 220Mhz Amateur Radio Repeater.
My Computer is a Homebuilt Computer using an Intel
P4-3.4g Extreme CPU on an A-Bit AI-7 motherboard with
3.5 gig of ram, 2 - 160 gig 7200 rpm Western Digital
SATA hardrives, 2 - Memorex Dual Layer DVD ReWriteable
EIDE Drives, 1.5 meg DSL modem, ATI All-In-Wonder
Radeon 9700 Pro 8X AGP Video card with 128 meg of ram
with a built in TV tuner, 20" Samsung SyncMaster 204B
LCD Color Monitor and ...
(I build all of my own computers as well as for my family)
I do on occasion build custom computers for people.
Let's face it you can buy a cheaper computer at one of
the discount store than I can build it, but if you want
a better custom built one then your going to pay more.
I build my systems to be able to run 24 hours a day / 7
days a week / 52 weeks a year and my computers do.
I live in the northern part of Wisconsin.
My wife and I have been married for 28 years.
I have 4 kids and 7 grand kids.
I'm also a HUGE Earth and Beyond fan which was the best online MMORPG
game ever made that I played daily for 2 years until EA Games decided
to pull the plug. Like alot of others Earth and Beyond fans I have
been trying to get EA Games to bring the game back. Until then I,
like many others upset Earth and Beyond fans are currently boycotting
EA Games until they bring back our beloved Earth and Beyond.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I have been running Seti@Home since Aug. 1999.
I believe that it is unrealistic to think that
we are the only intelligent beings in the galaxy.
I do believe that our planet has been visited and
maybe even being monitored by other beings.
Probily until they feel that we here on earth
are ready for us to be mature enough for them
to make their presents known. |
