Personal background
Hi,

I´m Daniel from Germany. I study biotechnology in Berlin. Besides life sciences, I enjoy spending my time reading and distributing my Computer Power to the SETI project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@home, because I like the idea that everybody has a chance to participate in this project by donating some of his computer power. Since the funding for this project is pretty low, its really important that everybody works hand in hand to get the best results. It may take centuries to find out who and what is out there, but we have to take this unique chance to explore unknown planets and species. A lot of people say this is a waste of time, but I´m convinced its not. Before you can actually tell there is nothing you have to look:-).
I´m really excited about the upcoming progress of this project and really hope the allen telescope array is going to be set up soon.
