Hey,
I work on computers, Build, repair, upgrade. You name it I can do it if it is hardware related on a PC. Mac's suck so I don’t know jack about them. I worked for Gateway Computers Technical Support Division right out of HS for 2 years. I then worked on Bell Atlantic DSL support for a couple of months then jumped into the Dentist Computer support field for 2 years then at a local computer shop doing anything and everything computer related for 2 years and currently am a Network admin for a Dentist office overseeing 43 computers. I started using SETI back in '00 but never kept it running, now with my XP 1900 and 512 Mem I keep it up and running almost, unless it can’t connect to the server, constantly. Will ET ever be found? I can’t answer this and I don’t think anyone can, There is a 50/50 chance, either we do or we don’t. Should we try and find ET? I believe we should mainly because that is how the human is, curious, I would be thrilled to find out SETI found something. I hope one day we will be like the recent Distributed program for Anthrax which just yielded excellent results on possible cures and gets the recognition it deserves.
