I got interented in SETI when I visited the National Space Centre in Leicester with my fiance and her father. I thought that it would be interesting to try to locate some life not of this Earth.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I consider it a mathematical certainty that Extraterrestrial life exists, because lets face it out of the millions and millions of stars and planets we cannot be the only major inteligent inhabitants. I think that it is a good idea for us to be able to pick up these siganls (if we can) so that we can ascertain whether or not ET's are more or less technologically advanced as us.
