Profile: Stew Metz

Personal background
Just a simple life, nothing special, my father was really into astrology. We used to take trips outside our city to watch the stars with his old telescope. I still have the telescope and we still go to our favortie spot whenever a meteor shower or passing comet comes into range.
I'm now 21 and married. I am photographer of weather, a storm chaser (although nothing as exciting as maybe tornado alley). It will be interesting in the next decade what changes we see in space exploration.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
In the next decade, i hope that we can extend our knowledge of space and space tranportation to far beyond what we have dreamed of right now. Maybe Mars holds secrets, and or minerals the we do not have here on earth that would potetionly fuel our rockets and help clean up the earth. One can only dream.
