Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1 - I am very skeptical about the existence of inteligent live out of this little planet. But I think we must keep searching, since it would change the way we live, we think and we see ourselves if we find anything.

When, or if, we will find it it's a tricky question, but I hope that will in my lifetime.

2 - Yes, I think we should transmit a beacon for others to find us, in as many ways as we are able to. Nothing can prove us whether "they" do know radio waves, or light waves, or sound waves. So, the wider the range of spectruns we can cover the higher the possibility that the message will be received.

3 - I guess SETI@home has been doing what can be done with the resources and the knowledge available. Suggestions? Keep up the good work. Let's spread the message and have everybody dreaming and looking for information and that little green men :-)
