I'm from Lisbon in Portugal. I've 19 years old and I study in I. S. E. L. (Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa) in Lisbon. I'm in engineering computer science. My main hobby is to play any sort of virtual game but I also like to ear about and learn astronomy (so my interest in this project). My favorite sports are swimming and jogging. Now I'm learning how to play tenis table and pool. I hope live to see the following events:
- The massive use of not pollutant transports.
- The emmigration to another planet (of course the current use of interplanetery transports).
- The transformation of competition in cooperation in the total mentality of the human being.
- The current use of a bio-electric-house (a house witch by nano (or less) electric techonology can take advantage of all animal and artificial waste to give maintenance and supply to the refered house (recycling it)).
- The discovery of inteligent life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm running SETI@home project because it's dedicated to the possible discover of alien life, that's exciting!
I cannot in this moment tell much about the project because I began to use it again a short while ago.
(So I don't have any suggestions!)
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
