I'm a total and utter sci-fi freak, i love everything alien and have allways believed in the existance of extra terrestrails as a certanty even though they have not yet been proven to exist. I felt that if they did exist i wanted to be a part of their discovery, this being the reason i downloaded the program so that i could help man to realise were not alone.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I know extra terrestrial life exists, otherwise whats the point. I hope that we discover them and make contact in my life time as it would make my existance worth something special. I believe humans should NOT send beacons out as there is a chance that any alien lifeforms we discover could be hostile and posess superior technological abilities that could easily destroy us.
