I am a senior software consultant and have been overseas for some years now. I grew up in North West on a farm where we farmed with cattle, horses and grew peanuts and corn. I am very interested in space exploration and hope that I will have the chance one day. I believe that helping us to understand the universe will answer a lot of questions we have about ourselves and the after life, but I am afraid that the more answers we seek the more questions will arise.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am convinced that Seti is very scientific about their business and I do have lots of time for people who devoted their lives to finding answers about us. I guess there will always be the skeptics and hopefuls, the pessimists and optimists. I am proud to consider Seti as a great hopeful and an optimist as well as the fact that I had the opportunity to associate myself with such a noble and useful organization.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
