Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Given the size of the known universe, and who knows what else is out there, I would estimate the probability of extraterrestrial life to be .99999999999999999999. We will discover many things in the years ahead, but it may require the development of knowledge about other dimensions and communication within them. The benefits of such knowledge are probably beyond our comprehension at this time, but the development of a human race that finally discards all of its evil would hopefully be a result.

2. Yes, we should transmit a beacon using the latest technology. We should provide the types of information that we would want intelligent life forms to know about us.

3. I run SETI@home to support the mission of the SETI@home organization. I fully support the project.
