Personal background
Greetings, my interest in space exploration goes back to being a kid and spending time underneath the stars just looking. As the years passed I felt a stronger urge to know more and do something to contribute to the cause of looking for extraterrestrial life and it wasn't soon after receiving my first computer that I found SETI@HOME. It has been 4 years of participating and I’m loving it more than ever; it has become apart of who I am and the forward thinking I value. Shortly after that I received my first computer and never thought it would become a integral part of my life.

For the past year I have been working as the Business Development Manager at Barnett Associates Real Estate, LLC. It is our Marysville real estate company and great opportunity and an ultimate joy to work with my family everyday. I got my start by doing pro-bono marketing materials and developing marketing strategies for my mom while the company only had five agents including my mom, Broker. Since then it has become my personal goal to try and increase our presence through the use of the internet because of my affinity for forward and innovative thinking.

Barnett Associates Real Estate, LLC now has 18 people in the office and our services include residential real estate, commercial, land development, new construction and property management. The office is growing so fast and everything seems to be changing on a daily basis which inherent to small business growth. The excitement and challenge is very dynamic and it pushes everything I learned in Business school to the Nth degree. Our office is where theories meet real time and mix with innovation sort of like a blender with something tasty in it.

I have been fortunate to have met three great people in my life that act as mentors to me. I have meet these two people from the internet in real estate related forums. One of my mentors is Ken Smith a Chicago real estate agent. Ken has taken personal time to coach and guide me on an eye opening path and with his help we have increased our web presence dramatically. The second person I consider a mentor is Jacqulyn Richey, a Las Vegas real estate agent, who has been helping me a lot with my marketing and sharing tips and tricks about the real estate industry in general. Another mentor for me has been Glenn Ginsburg, a Naples REALTOR. Glenn has shared his secrets and what it takes to be successful in high competitive world that is real estate. The list keeps going and my friend Patrick Lamb, a Seattle appraisal firm has been a great friend that helps me stay in touch with the home valuation process. All this help from outside sources really keeps me pushing the boundaries of my own thought and that is irreplaceable, IMO.

I have some other pet projects that include blogging on my personal blog which is also the webpage for team Goingbigger Exploration, Inc. One of my favorite items on the site is the Image of the Day feed from NASA's website. Having it automatically up date gives me a reason everyday to visit my blog. Being one of my older sites it has gone through many evolutions but it still remains in a constant state of change which brings me a lot of joy. Another project that I started with a college buddy, small business marketing, where we help other small businesses and start-ups create an online presence. I really enjoy it because it gives me an opportunity to share what I've learned by spending time on the internet.

I enjoy working with others on many levels and have met people from all over the United States because of online activities. Having fun and enjoying life is my goal and mantra so if you ever see me on the streets, stop and say hello because I would love to hear from you.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I just set up my first team Goingbigger Exploration to assist in logging all my data. With one computer being so old it takes it forever to compute the data but my tablet on the other hand is twice as fast.

SETI@HOME is fun and cool a tool to help search for signals from outer space it makes me feel like I am doing my part. Back in high school I really started to get into space and ETs and start doing more research. Over the years I have massed a collection of space pictures from various sources; the pictures are taken form various websites and only been used for personal enjoyment for a wallpaper.

The project is a great idea in my opinion because it gives people the chance to contribute to a project that may find an answer to the question millions of people would like to know. For me, it gives me hope that in my life time the answer too: Are we alone in the Universe? Will be answered. From my own experiences and research the question is already answered but for many it is going to take physical proof that can be proved genuine. I look forward to that day and with any hopes it is a peaceful experience for everyone.

My Message to Aliens: Take me to your leader and if you stick a probe in my butt I will give you a Chuck Norris roundhouse to the left side of your melon :)
