Profile: Ultimate Phoenix

Personal background
Greetings!
I am a "trekkie" from the Washington, D.C. area. I love Star Trek, writing Star Trek novels, watching Star Trek, reading Star Trek, making my computer look like it came from Star Trek (thus SETI@Home), drawing Star Trek ships, scenes, and battles, looking up Star Trek info on my Mac, and, best of all, writing my novel, Captain's Log. It is about the Commander of and Starship USS PHOENIX. My other interests include fixing computers (esp. Macs), reading about Macs, eating healthy food, reading about healthy food, eating food from other countries (especially Latin America, Korea, and Poland), reading Science Fiction, writing Science Fiction, reading Marvel Comics, writing action stories, coding in JavaScript, Property Lists, Objective C, XML, and ASCII, anything to do with Phoenixes, and, of course, watching the SETI Graphics Screensaver. Weird, huh? Anyway, my de-facto website is here.

Live long and prosper, and may the Great Bird of the Galaxy bless your planet! —THE PHOENIX
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI@Home is really awesome. The best part is the screensaver, which looks like your computer is the Star Trek communications display or the Science Station. I run it to help others, to get credits, and because I read about it in this book, every soul a star. I want to discover alien signals, of course. However, I hope that the data is otherwise useful, as we may never get anywhere in that respect.
