My name is John (aka; Polarison). I am 40 years old and I have a 20 year background in IT. I enjoy creating graphical arts for several non-profit and open-source projects. I have contributed a small amount of art to the SETI@home site (in the form of wallpapers) and am involved in prototype artwork for the Shareaza Open-Source Project.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The SETI project is essential to our knowledge of the universe. It is undoubtedly the project which will prove that we are not alone in this universe.
