| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Some sort of life must exist beyond our solar system, if not within it, just like we do.
The simple fact they are there will answer 95 % of our questions. The void is so infinite that there will be life that is more advanced than the one we first find anyway.
Discovery will happen by radio contact of some sort. The Seti project could not be a better way of trying. By increasing the speed and bandwidth of the number crunching we could find out faster. Things can only get better as technology advances. I really hope it happens in my lifetime |
