| I'm just a student with a rather large SciFi interest. Early 20s, full time student, gaming for hobbies, all with very little sleep. Currently trying to get employed with the FAA as an ATC. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run the program simply because it lets me put my computer to good use while I am not really doing anything more than merely browsing the internet.
I think SETI is very important for the future exploration of space as well as it is perhaps the "simplest" way of finding other intelligent life.
The only suggestion I'd have for SETI@home is if it had greater common knowledge, maybe amongst students. There are many good programs and groups that BOINC could support, but as far as I know I am the only one to have heard about it. |
