Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there is somewhere in this huge universe some other form of life.
I have no idea when and how, could be tomorrow or over 1,000 years.
Considering the huge distances i don't believe we should worry for possible dangers and/or benefits.
We are already transmitting over 50 years that we are here, we are beyond the first stars with our radiowaves, and we are sending all kind of information.
I run SETI@home because I like to think and hope that we are not alone in this universe and this is a way to discover.
SETI is a good project, it brings people together in their search, it's like a common goal, the possibilities that we are alone are slim but where are they?
This is a start for mankind to work together, to search....and find that we are NOT alone!!! UNITE!
