I´m from Austria (Central Europe)and i´m working in Eventmanagement and Marketing, since childhood i also became a great fan of SiFi (StarTrek, Stargate etc.). Since then i´am always looking eagerly at the stars and want to know what´s out there and wich wonders are waiting to be discovered by mankind. I´m very interested in astrophysics, astronomy, quantumphysics, philosphy and more.
I would be glad to read about you others out there at the SETI@Home community members always looking for new friends around the world, just to exchange thoughts and news.

I believe it is a fact that we are not alone! So i want to participate in the SETI community to make contact with extra terrestrial species, i guess recognizing that we are not the only intelligent life will change our world and will end all suffering in war in every way! Like Gene Roddenberry´s vision of Starfleet and UFP and maybe one day i´ll have my "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster" in the restaurant at the end of the galaxy...
