Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Ever since Carl Sagan's book and TV series came out (Cosmos), I have
always 'expected' good news about ET life showing up.

I specially liked the movies that play with this idea (Close encounters...,
ET, Alien, 2001, etc.)

SETI's efforts present a pretty commendable initiative in the sense of trying
to accomodate the inmense amount of unexplored cosmic radio signals into the
empty slots of the increasing processing power resources available world-wide.

Benefits from a new discovery in this field point towards a higher level
in human consciousness.

The message sent out by earthlings should include a request to know best.
Something like: What are we doing wrong?

Congratulations.
