Grew up in small town in Mexico (skies were nice and dark @ night). Vividly remember the first Moon landing. I make my living as a computer programmer (big iron) and just hope the profession is around long enough to retire on my decision and not that of someone else.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Although the chance of correctly interpreting a SETI message are infinitesimally small, the work is very much worth while.
