Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am an avid fan of the late Dr. Carl Sagan. From a very young age I have wondered at the probability of intelligent life in the universe. SETI@home is my way of contributing to the fields of astronomy and biology, since I have no formal training outside of computer science, German or math.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
