Personal background
Hello, my name is Constantin Paiu and i live in Bucharest. I was born in the 1980 (so i don't have to specify my age every year), and in my childhood i began to be interested in what coud be above my head, far above. I never studied the matter verry seriously, only readed some articles and books of Isaac Asimov, but that got me hooked to the Universe issues.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?

I first heard about this program some years ago, but i didn't have a computer and a permanent internec connection then. The ideea got me hooked, so, despite forgetting about it during years i remembered it some days ago and i searched for anything releated to SETI until i found it.
To answer the question, well, i find it verry importantto know that we're not alone in the universe. To me the most important thing is to find life, no matter the level, but things are rather ironic: we have no chance to find basic life before intelligent life, even if the chances to be there are bigger. I'm 100% sure there is life, and intelligent life out there, but, just like Thomas, i must tough "the wound".

What are your views about the project?

I find the project poetical at first, because it deals with hazard, chaos and unknown (not to be confused with unsure). However, i find this to be something worthed spending time, money and life on, even in this conditions.

Any suggestions?

Not concerning the procedures. However, if ever anything is discovered, i would like to know, as a public person.
