Personal background
I am 17, i live in the middle of suburbia (A.K.A. Eldersburg). I love doing web developing and listening to techno (pronounced TESH-NO) hehe :-p

I have discovered over the years of running seti that it is not just a way to help people, it is a sport!! SETI has given me a very competetive edge, and i thank you berkeley for doing this for me. Without seti, my computer would have no reason to stay on 24/7/365.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think ET is very real. (ET.. phone home) Be it advanced or single celled organism, i belive there is some form of life out there.. hell, we found bacteria on mars, that has to tell you something! I just hope we dont discover a race of evil aliens, although i highly doubt there is... what kind of species would travel thousands of light years to destroy their neighbor? its just not logical.

I belive we should send becons out to an extent, after that it is just wasting government funds. :/

I run seti to lend berkeley a hand, obviously they are wayyy.. underfunded, so why not help the needy? Plus it looks really cool wearing a seti t-shirt. hehe :)
