Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI is a great program, actually it´s the best science project ever. The idea of finding extraterrestrial life by analyzing recieved radio waves is amazing. I´ve always been fascinated by the extent of space and the idea that there are indoubtedly other life forms. Since I have seen Contact (where Ellie used the Arecibo el Radar and later, the New Mexico VLA radio telescopes to detect an alien signal), I wanted to be a part of such team as SETI researchers.
Recently, I´ve discovered seti@home and been amazed this idea. I think, there should be a large advertizing campaign to propagate this project, so people like me that don´t know, there is something like this, could also participate.

Although I have only one computer available, I think I can contribute to find ALF and who knows, maybe I will be the lucky guy, that´ll discover something ;-).
