Personal background
I was born in 1976 in Basque Country (N Spain). In the past i've visited many amazing countries all over the world and also lived in USA and different points of Europe. I study Electronics Engineering in my free time and work in many places, like DJ-ing in a club, designing surfboards and teaching martial arts (Chi Kung, Tai Chi and Zazen) in a gym, where i also teach self defense techniques to mistreated women. I write short stories and i'm working on my 2nd novel right now. I live with my precious girlfriend and i consider myself a fortunate guy :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.- ET life may exist. It's a possibility not proven yet but we must research in order to understand more about the universe we live in .... this knowledge could answer many questions human kind has always fought against and also make us feel less lonely in this huge (but apparently cold) space.

2.- Difficult question, as every decision we make is part of our environment. Aliens should know (at least) basic maths and primal numbers, Cesar encription algorythms, Fibonacci sequence, Lyman-alpha line of atomic hydrogen or Pi could be neutral info that could be understood by an hypothetical alien race. Sequences of binary numbers should also be welcomed (although a terrestial radio station emitting aleatory pulses could generate a 110111011111).

3.- I don't like to say 'I didn't try it' :) Being part of sth bigger makes us better and this discovery would change our past, present and future as we know them.
