| Me? I'm just a regular Joe with too much time on his hands, so instead of wasting precious CPU time, I'm running SETI to find life beyond our own planet. The machine should have plenty to work on, and it'll be a favor to science anyway. |

Do aliens exist? Maybe. Are they around? Also, maybe. Am I here to find them? Yes.
Analyzing radio waves may well be pour best way of tracking, after all, if they are as intelligent as us, they should be able to transnmit low-freq sounds throught the galaxy, and we're here to pick it up. Maybe we could even return the favor, after all, Voyager 2 itself carried proof of our existence, why not create a mark III...
As for me, I'm just a regular PC user with ample CPU time, so why the heck not, maybe I'll be the one to find them. Maybe my friends will, but if we don't try, we'll never achieve anything. |
