Personal background
Erm. No big computers,AMD XP 2000 Linux Mandrake 8.2 at home. One DUAL CPU Athlon MP 2400 512MG ECC RAM.

I target to get about 16wu\\\\\\'s per 24h.

Personal:

I swim, play Ocotopush, Squash & golf I tried to ski and I play Tribes2, QuakeIII, UnrealTourney, Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat (better than CoD) on my computer when not running SETI, spodding or watching NASATV.

Got onto SETI via a science article in a magazine.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Intelligence does exist, but not on earth. (ha!)

We are looking in the wrong energy-spectrum however. (VELOCITY!)

Ancient civilisations, the remains of which are merrily running thier phone lines round our system, do not use our low-energy slow-moving EM spectrum.

We need to look at other spectra that may exist not really in relation to our
v=f.L where \\\\\\'v\\\\\\' = c all the time.

\\\\\\'Light\\\\\\' as we call it has other similar \\\\\\'spectra\\\\\\' at other energies.

We need to unbase ourselves from the spectra extrapolated from observation of light & prisms & things. Our malady or ide fixe. We know the speed of visible light (extrapolated into the EM spectrum) but what of other velocities?

What is the frequency of gravitational force waves? Then what is the frequency of anti-gravity waves? These can interact with energy and matter to make force fields and tractor beams and suchlike. We are many years from these \\\\\\'discoveries\\\\\\'.

On earth you have not found this our as you never thought to look for such a thing. It\\\\\\'s the secret behind dark matter too!

- Happy hunting.

SETI:

SETI is an awesome project but could be about 100X bigger if we all do our bit to spread the word and the binaries!
