Personal background |
Hello! I'm 17 years old? and all this time I lived in Russia. I'm studing only the second year in Moscow State University. Really, I don't like physics, sometimes I don't get it at all, but I really like astronomy, not as a further scientist, but like a man. It's amazing, "sugoi desu ne" (jp.) ^__^ No doubt.
What can I say about hobbies? You know, I'm very young, so I have the mere hobbies as every teenager has - music, anime, manga, arts, games, rollerblading and so on. You see - I don't seem to be like a man, who loves science ^__^ And I'm very happy that I can help that project.
P.S. Excuse my familiar style and my English *^__^* |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
It's very funny, but I read about SETI in my English textbook. There was a text about that project, and I thought "Huh, rather interesting". So, I'm here.
I think that the main idea is very great. And, really, why the computer sources of interested people can't help the researches? It's much more easy to get necessary SETI@Home way, not to gather the whole technic in one place and triyng to get results with it. The possibilities of that way is limited, in contrary, the way, that SETI offers, is practically unlimited.
That's my simple thoughts. You're doing the right thing ^__^ |
