Personal background
G'day
as you can tell from that staple colloquilisim of Australian Culture i am indeed from Australia. South Australia, Adelaide to be precise.

I've been a SETI guy for years (started @ 13) lamentably sometimes i am forced to not to partake in this pursuit due to a lack of money.

I'm currently the founder of the Enigma@Home and Milkyway@Home Overclockers Australia Teams and in future I wish to contribute more to this very worth while cause.

SETI@Home is a fabulous cause along with it's companion Einstein@Home In fact if there was an improved ATi CAL support and more CUDA work units. for us to sink our greedy GPU's into.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Lightweight downloads and flexibility. also really like CPU and CUDA workunits however ATi CAL ability would help as well.

SETI and Einstein are both absolutely critical for Human kind to begin to see how they fit into the Universe.

Improve the encoding or coding of the Project so a Core 2 Duo E8600 can get 9k ppd. ATi CAL support would be a great help and also boost your processing power by another 25% and stands to improve as CAL's implementation Matures and is improved. so to summarize. code and assembly optimisation and Ati GPU support please!. I know of many who would love to use their GPU for this effort however they cannot do so due to the lack of support for their HD4xxx or their HD5xxx cards. this needs to rectified with much haste.
