1: I reckon so. It would be nice to hear what they had to say.
2: Sure, because they're probably all out there scared and just listening too. Really, we already are transmitting anyway, but why not try being a little more deliberate about it.
3: My computer isn't doing anything useful when it sits there. Might as well put the processor to good use.
