I am an IT professional living in the US. I have been involved with Seti@Home since 1997. This is my second account. My primary account has over 70,000 'historical' work units completed. After upgrade my old account logged an additional 50,000+ work credits on a Mac Mini.
I am using several computers for Seti. The most powerful is Acer Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz machine with 4 CPU's. This computer beat my longtime champion a 4 processor Intel Xeon 2.8Ghz. Intel Xeon workhorse was calculating Seti for 5 years.
My interests include photography, computers, programming, mountain biking, motor sports - motorcycles, and auto sports - cars.

| I am running SETI@Home because I believe there might be somebody out there who is looking at the stars just like us. 500 years ago people didn't believe that the Earth was round, and now we have a chance to explore the universe and pinpoint the planets from which radio signals are originating. |
