Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm happy to help and I feel that SETI research is one of humanity's most important efforts. I am a staunch supporter of manned and unmanned space exploration and space science -- it disappoints me to know that the US government doesn't feel the same way and that they continue to squander money and talent upon going-nowhere projects like the International Space Station/Space Shuttle (not to mention the remote possibility that some within the government may be covering up evidence that points to the confirmation of off-world intelligent life).
