Personal background
I have little to say...I enjoy life and it's intricacies...my career is convoluted and technical, so I won't bore you with the details..my true job is being a man in some of it's different forms...a father, husband, friend, fisherman, soapbox preacher and hermit at the same time...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti@home because I am involved in a related field (RF), and I feel that RF will be our first clue that we are not alone, and by sharing my resources, I feel that I may contibute, even if in the tiniest way, to shortening the timespan between the present and when we find our first evidence that there is intellegent life capable of creating radio signals somewhere in our universe. Though I am a sceptic as to our possible physical contact with other worlds, I do believe that one day we will see a radio signal, and I would love to see that occur within my lifetime.
