Personal background
Hi i'm from Perth Western Australia. I'm 45 years old and work at Pearce AirForce Base as an aircraft handler. I play darts ( not pub ) in proper competitions and one day hope to play for Australia overseas. Astronomy is my other interest in life. There's nothing more wonderful that looking up at the night sky and wondering what it's really like to be out there. By the way when i mention darts most people conjure up images of me being rather over werght with a big beer belly.......... well i'm rather quite the opposite (although most of my team mates and opponents do fit the discription), i would rather a soda or a coffee.
I'm rather new to Seti and i find it fascinating. I think that people who believe we are the only from of life in the vast universe that we live in are either ignorant or afraid of what is a high probability. It would be totally awesome to meet another intelligent life form from a distant civilisation, but the question in my mind would be...." Who's the Alien" ?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run Seti@home because it's interesting to be of help to the project. If my computer happens to detect what we are searching for and provide Seti with that information then it's a great reward for everyone involved.

2. My views on the project is rather limited at the moment as i am rather new to all of this. I'm a firm believer that there is other life out there and i guess that's what Seti is all about, finding that signal source and the long awaited reply. I think what the scientists and all those involved in Seti are doing is remarkable and fantastic. I truely do hope that one day they do get the answer that is looked for.
