Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'd heard about this from an old roomate of mine from flight school who is a NASA shuttle pilot in Houston. I thought it sounded like a good way to maximize the unused portion of my computer's capacity. Someone or something is out there. We just need to listen in the right place and in the right way. Statistically, we cannot possibly be alone in the universe.
This ought to be better publicized. More people would donate their processor time if they knew about it.
