Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
(1) I am running Seti@home because I am sure that there is INTELLIGENT life
and the sooner it's confirmed, the broader everyones mind will be.
(2) Combining the publics computer power is pure genius. The number of users from so many nations is surely a bit of political clout.
(3) I would like to suggest that the stats for each users strongest signal/ best candidate signal / highest score be kept somewhere. I think it would encourage the use of more resources.
