Personal background
I'm Joe. 33 years old.
Faithful in humanity, for that point of you, I want to be a part of it.
I'm from a small big unrecognized country called Catalunya in Europe.
I'm the export manager in a small textile factory.
My hobbies are different as follows; I'm diver(CMAS), I like to build small ships in miniature (modelism) to navigate it. I love Star Trek. (New Generation)Captain Jean Luc Picard. I love reading books from differents themes,... sci-fi (O.Scot Card,George Orwell,P.K.Dick,Asimov...), historic-fiction(Conn Igulden,M.Manfredi...)and anything related with legends, true stories or happenings of ships and the sea since the human being started its own eternal trip to the eternity.(I hope it). Also I like Classical and modern music and musicians but I must admit that recently I had discovered that I have a 'problem' with Beethoven the 9th Simphony, It's something difficult to explain, yeah I know... it's something stupid... but I need to listen it often, I need it. I supose that is something like 'The catcher in the rye' from J.D Salinger, you know what I mean isn't it?

I know that I'll never be on the outer space to discover other planets and civilizations like my hero Capt. Jean Luc Picard. I know that our planet has enought and big problems to solve before starting others outside but... I think that like in our personal life, if we could have a look with a different sight... and more knowledges, may be then we'll be able to understand our questions and get the answers.

To me is a honor to be a insignificant part of SETI project.
It makes me feel proud to be a human being.

Thank you for giving me the chance to be a part of this project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. To me, this project is amazing, is exciting is... a must!
I had always wondered if we are or not alone.
This is just the way to search and find'em and I want to help to do it, because I'm sure that finally we'll contact.
2. ??¿¿ What to say?... I think that is a very very nice idea that many governments in the world should rest instead of wasting money in the warlike industry, for example.
3.Do the best.
