| I live in the Inland Northwest with my wife and three children. I work at the local utility as a contracted network systems administrator. In my free time I enjoy fishing, camping, shooting and this fall (2001) I hope to begin hunting upland game birds. I'm a member of the SCA and I've built a couple of working trebuchets. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I wouldn't be surprised to find life beyond earth. Evidence of ancient primitive life on Mars or life on the moons of Jupiter seems quite likely. However, I doubt that we'll find life beyond our solar system any time soon if ever. The distances to be covered are simply too vast.
9If there is intelligent life beyond our solar system that we would be able to communicate with I’m not sure it would be to our benefit to do so, but I’m willing to try.
