Personal background
Hello,

I am originally from Wales, UK, from a small town called Tywyn. I grew up on a farm where the night sky is crystal clear and perfect for telescopic pursuits. I now live by myself in the north east of England, in Stockton-on-tees.

I am a post-graduate Psychology student, with hopes of becoming a Doctor of Clinical Psychology. I study with the Open University and work full-time selling car insurance for a large company. I need to pay my fees some how!

However, my really passion is Astronomy and Cosmology and have always supported the work SETI does. I am glad I can finally contribute my resources to this noble cause.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI deserves all the funding and support it can get. It encourages open mindedness in people, which I beleive is an important component in an indivudal's personality. The belief in the incredible makes us better people (in my opinion).

I have recently discussed SETI@HOME with friends and family who are very interested in the project, but are not aware of it. I believe SETI needs to advertise this more and they'll be pleasently surprize (i think) by the response the will receive.
