| I'm from Los Angeles, my age is 17 going on 18, my current occupation is none. However, I am attending a junior college, then I'll transfer to a CalState. My hobbies are exercising, reading, writing stories and poems, and drawing. Off course watching TV, so in sense, I have no social life. Well I used to, but it was only a small circle of friends. My favorite reading material are basically science-fiction, scientific papers (Michio Kaku, Hawking, Capra) fantasy sagas, and anything that deals with the nature of reality. Not just the Matrix, but also philosophical ideas of Eastern Mysticism (Buddhism, Daoism, Hinduism, and Islam). As you can see, I'm a very open minded person, but not so open that my mind ceases to exist;) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home so I can know whether any other sentient intelligences exist. My views on it were pre-Contact, since I went to church, I felt as though they were not telling my the whole story. My family insisted to become one with God, but in mind I said no, until I see for myself, the true picture of the universe. So I started to read science books, anything that can answer my questions. However, as time goes by, the more I read, the more questions I tend to have. This is why I'm running SETI@home, to know another way towards our very existance. |
