We are young 40ties... She is a service manager, he is a senior advisor. We have got three kids (two almost adults). All of us - even the youngest - are very much scientifically interested. We believe, that only good education and improving knowledges of all people worldwide can seriously protect our planets future. SETI and your other projects support this approach...
Of course: we are still dreaming and therefore starTREKKIES too...

There is a really amazing idea behind, either to use the huge free computing capacity worldwide or to be absolutely convinced that other ETI must exist.
Of course the main problem might be the overall size of the space and the problem of time synchronization between our appearance on earth and the coincidence someone to meet us at our location and in our time...
However - "we believe" - and would like to slightly contribute a higher probability of "first contact", which could hopefully boost the mankind forward.
