Senior Engineer with extensive experience in multiple facets of the advanced technology sector, strong background in IP, IP Security-VPN, Encryption systems including PKI infrastructures. ATM, FRAME RELAY, MPLS and Routing Protocols like OSPF, IS-IS, BGP-4, SAN Technologies and protocols like ISCSI, FCP, FCIP, iFCP, and iSNS.
With more than ten years experience in Information Technologies and data communications, more than 15 technical documents written and several IT training courses designed. Member of the International Engineering Consortium (www.iec.org) and formerly member of the ATM Forum (www.atmforum.com). Active member of the IETF IPv6 task force in Panama promoting the implementation of the protocol at the enterprise and operators level. Skillful Trainer, powerful presentation skills and ability to think on your feet, also highly credible working with executives and technical managers.
Currently working as IT and Network Security Consultant for the Regency Group, an important 1500+ employees and 50+ companies group, involved in banking, financial, assurance and mark distribution in Panama and the LATAM area, leading multiple IT, Security and Networking projects.
My personal interests include spending time with my wife and two daughters, reading, playing soccer and cooking typical food.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I join the SETI@home project because i believe we're not alone, and I would really love to be part of maybe the first touch with other civilization before I die.
