I was a SETI@home member several years ago on my old computer. I've always been a huge sci-fi fan and because of sci-fi I have always been a huge fan of SETI. I'm 30 years old and still a kid at heart.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI is a worthy cause and it should never be frowned on. If SETI is able to find some sign of intelligence beyond the Earth then it will be proof that we have others out there to meet, greet, and hopefully learn from rather then fight with.
